Selling or gifting a Hubbl device
If you decide to re-sell or gift your Hubbl device, you’ll need to remove all personal details, including your Hubbl ID, by:
- signing out of all apps
- performing a factory reset;and
- de-registering the device from your account.
How do I perform a factory reset?
- Press Home and scroll down to Settings .
- Select System management .
- Select Resets & updates .
- Select Factory reset , then Continue.
How do I deregister a Hubbl device?
You must deregister the device if it’s still registered to your Hubbl ID to remove it from your account.
To deregister the device online:
- Login to My Account.
- Under My Devices, select Manage devices.
- Select the device to deregister, then select De-register device.
- Review and confirm the details onscreen.
Or, you can de-register directly on the device itself:
- From the home screen, scroll down to My Account .
- Under Devices , select Device details .
- Select De-register device .
- Review the details and select De-register device .
- Review and select Agree .
Note:This can take up to 24 hours to reflect on the device.
What if the previous owner didn’t factory reset or deregister the device?
If the previous owner performedeithera factory resetorremoved the device from their account, you’ll be able to register the device to your account when you connect it for the first time.
If the previous owner didn’t perform any action before selling the device, you’ll need to perform a factory reset before setting up:
- Press Home and scroll down to Settings .
- Select System management .
- Select Resets & updates .
- Select Factory reset , then Continue.
Is the second-hand Hubbl device I purchased under warranty?
Yes, the second-hand device will be covered by warranty if it meets all eligibility requirements. For more information about Hubbl warranty and to check eligibility, click here.

Can I purchase new equipment for a pre-owned device?
Yes, you can purchase new or additional Hubbl remotes. For more information, click here.
Other equipment such as TV stands, tethering kits or cables cannot be purchased individually.
