Pair the remote control
Before you start, make sure:
- the Hubbl device is switched on and not in standby
- the remote is within one metre of the Hubbl device
- there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the Hubbl device.
To pair the remote:
- Press and hold the 1 and 3 buttons at the same time for three seconds.
- Wait until you see the connected message on screen, then select Continue .
Check Hubbl remote power
To ensure the remote batteries are working, check for a white backlight behind the buttons on the remote. It can help to slightly cover the buttons with your hand.
If you can see a backlight, make sure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the Hubbl device. If there is, skip to the next step.
If you can’t see a backlight, try pressing any button. If there's still no light, remove the back cover of the remote and check the battery compartment to ensure there’s no leftover paper covering the battery.
Note:The remote comes with paper to protect the battery. If not fully removed, small pieces can be left behind.
If there’s still no backlight, continue with troubleshooting.
Replace remote batteries
- Remove the entire back cover of the remote by sliding it down. Follow the direction of the arrow on the back of the remote.
- Remove the old batteries and insert new AAA batteries, ensuring the correct positioning.
- Slide the back cover back into place and press firmly to close.
- Press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Unpair and repair the Hubbl remote
On the Hubbl remote:
- Press and hold the 7 and 9 buttons at the same time for three seconds.
- Press and hold the 1 and 3 buttons at the same time for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.
Restart device
Restart Hubbl Hub
- Switch the Hubbl Hub off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Restart Hubbl Glass
- Switch the TV off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Check remote warranty status
It looks like your remote control may need to be replaced. If you received your remote control with your Hubbl device, the warranty period will match the device warranty period:
- Hubbl Glass: 2 years
- Hubbl: 1 year
Note: If you purchased the remote control separately, it comes with a 1 year warranty.
If the remote is under warranty, submit a warranty claim.
