4K compatibility
In order to watch 4K content on your Hubbl device, you’ll need:
- to be on the relevant subscription type that supports streaming in 4K
- a steady broadband speed of at least 25Mbps
- to ensure the title you’ve selected is available in 4K
If you have Hubbl (small device), you'll need:
- to connect Hubbl to a 4K-compatible TV that supports 4K resolution (3840x2160 @ 50hz) with a HDMI 2.0 cable (included with the device)
- tomanuallychange the picture resolution setting to 2160p
- Navigate to Settings from the home screen or hold the microphone button on the remote and say “ Settings ”.
- Select Picture & sound, then Picture. Here, you can adjust the picture resolution to 2160p.
Note:The first time you watch BINGE or Kayo Sports content in 4K, you’ll be prompted to press the four coloured-dots button at the top-right of the remote. This will take you to Settings to update the picture resolution. Once this setting has been updated, you won’t need to change it again. If you’re streaming content from another app (such as Netflix) that includes 4K but it’s showing in HD, you’ll need to update the picture resolution setting to 2160p before being able to see the 4K badge.
