Check other apps and devices
To determine if the issue relates to the Hubbl device or a certain app, channel or program, try another channel or app on the Hubbl device.
If you’re experiencing this issue on multiple apps or channels, skip to the next step.
If you’re only experiencing this issue on one app or channel, try the channel or app you’re having issues with on a different device (such as a laptop or mobile device).
If you’re experiencing the issue on multiple devices, there may be an issue with the app or broadcast.

If you’re only experiencing the issue with the app or channel on a Hubbl device, continue troubleshooting.
Check remote settings
If you are using a Hubbl Glass, you can skip this step.
Check that the Hubbl remote can control the volume and power of the Hubbl device:
Note: This setting allows the Hubbl remote to control the TV volume and power. If you would prefer not to make this change and to continue using your TV remote to control the TV volume and power, skip this step.
- Press 1 and 3 on the Hubbl remote
- Press Continue and follow the prompts on screen
Or, you can
- Press Home on the Hubbl remote and scroll down to Settings.
- Select Connected Devices.
- Press right so Remote is highlighted
- Press select on Control your TV
- Follow the prompts on screen
Next, ensure HDMI control is switched on:
- In Settings, go to Startup and standby
- Scroll to HDMI control and check that it is switched on
- Once this has been done, you’ll be able to turn off Hubbl and the TV using the Hubbl remote by pressing and holding the standby button.
Restart Hubbl Hub
- Switch the Hubbl Hub off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Disconnect external sound system
If the Hubbl device is connected to an external sound system like a sound bar or home surround system, disconnect it from the external device.
If you’re not experiencing issues when the external sound system is disconnected, there may be an issue with your sound system. Contact your system manufacturer for more support.
If you’re still experiencing sound issues, continue with troubleshooting.
Try a different HDMI port
If you're using a Hubbl Glass, you can skip this step.
- If you have another HDMI port available on the TV, try plugging the HDMI cable from your Hubbl into a different port.
- Using the TV remote, select the HDMI source or input that Hubbl is now plugged into.
Check device warranty status
It looks like your Hubbl device may need to be replaced.
The warranty period for Hubbl devices are:
- Hubbl Hub: 1 year
- Hubbl Glass: 2 years
